She built it from 30 years at the bedside, in the community, and in her own home — as a nurse, a doula, and a caregiver for her own fully disabled sibling. That experience didn't break her. It built her. With more than 30 years of clinical expertise spanning adult ventilator care, corrections, psychiatric services, home health, and long-term care — Lizzel brings the kind of knowledge and compassion that only comes from actually living this work. Before coming to Arizona she founded and operated a successful respite service in Milwaukee that supported hundreds of families. She came to Maricopa County with one mission — to make sure no mother, caregiver, or family ever has to face life's hardest moments without real, trusted support.
